Lufthansa reports an increased booking situation for the Easter travel days. In the past two weeks, bookings for Mallorca have increased by 80 percent. The island is no longer a risk area from Sunday. 

In the Canaries, there is an increase of 20 percent, bookings for Mexico increase by 50 percent. Lufthansa reacted and has significantly increased the number of flights offered.

From the turn of the month, the airline will offer a total of around 1,200 European connections. The number of connections from Munich increases by 200 percent, from Frankfurt there is an increase of 50 percent compared to the current week.

For example, the number of weekly flights from Munich to Mallorca will be increased from two to up to eleven. From Frankfurt, the number of flights to Balearic Island increases from six to 20. In addition, Eurowings will in the future offer up to 325 flight connections per week to Mallorca. Departures are from 24 airports in Germany and Great Britain.
