However, Nike has distanced himself from demonic shoes. According to Reuters, Nike said in the lawsuit that MSCHF Product Studios Inc. infringed its trademark and watered it down with black and red devil-themed shoes that went on sale online Monday. Lil Nas X is not named as a defendant in the lawsuit.

Multiple media outlets reported that the shoes sold for less than a minute, priced at $ 1,018 per pair. Lil Nas X said on Twitter that he would select the recipient of the 666th couple from social media users to send one of their tweets.

Nike said in his lawsuit in New York federal court that the shoes were made “without Nike’s approval ” and that the company was “in no way involved in the project.”

While a legal controversy unfolded, Twitter was both disgusted as well as amused by the satan shoes.
