- A driver died on Saturday afternoon in a serious traffic accident on federal highway 28 near Blaubeuren.
Germany News, March 14: According to initial findings, the driver of the older Porsche drove uphill on the Blaubeurer Steige from the direction of Blaubeuren and first brushed against an oncoming Ford.
Then there was a collision with a Skoda. The Blaubeurer fire brigade, which was alerted at 2:46 p.m., freed the Porsche driver trapped in his completely demolished vehicle.
As Commander Uwe Ziegler reports, hydraulic tools such as scissors, spreaders, and punches had to be used. Despite the efforts of the emergency doctor, the Porsche driver died at the scene of the accident.
The seriously injured Skoda driver was taken to hospital. The federal road 28 was completely blocked in the area between Blaubeuren and Seißen. The fire brigade, which had deployed four vehicles and 15 helpers, had to clean the oil-soiled roadway.
