The Ministry of Health in Bahrain announced the suspension of providing internal services in restaurants and cafes, and the shifting of the study to distance learning.
These steps are taken to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, starting from January 31 for a period of 3 weeks.
The account of the Bahraini Ministry of Health on “Twitter” stated that Dr. Walid Al-Manea, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, confirmed that through the process of continuous monitoring, analysis, and follow-up of existing cases, the new strain of the virus (Covid 20) was discovered in a number of existing cases in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al-Manea said: “The decisions taken included suspending attendance and contenting with remote learning in government rehabilitation centers and homes affiliated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, nurseries and private training centers and institutes licensed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
Adding,“ Attendance will continue in schools and private and private centers for people with special needs.
It has also been decided to stop providing internal services in restaurants and cafes, starting from January 31 for a period of three weeks,” Al-Manea added
