Kuwait Travel News, June 15: An informed source at Kuwait International Airport revealed to Al-Qabas that the movement of departing and arriving aircraft is proceeding normally, and the civil aviation authorities have not been informed of any new procedures after discovering that cases of the Indian mutant were infected. The source added that the procedures for reducing or closing the airport, as well as tightening travel restrictions, are decisions that must be issued through the health authorities or the Council of Ministers, saying: We have not been informed of any developments so far about that.
And he indicated that the countries that discovered the cases of the Indian mutant have stopped flights with them, stressing that the aviation authorities are very keen to implement health requirements for all arrivals to the country.
He stated that the total scheduled flights today amounted to 50 departing and arriving flights, from several destinations, most notably Istanbul, Doha and Bahrain.
