Italy exempts quarantine requirement for Kuwait travelers

Kuwait City, Oct 26: Today, Italy announced that vaccinated travelers from Kuwait will be exempted from the precautionary isolation (quarantine) condition imposed as part of measures to confront the outbreak of the new Coronavirus.
 
The Italian Ministry of Health said on its website that the two restaurants coming from the State of Kuwait were included in the “List D”, which includes countries exempted from the precautionary “self” isolation requirement.

In this context, the ministry revealed the “List D” of countries and regions with “low epidemiological risks,” which includes, in addition to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Britain, Australia, the United States, and Canada, in addition to Japan, which has additional rules.

They stated that the Italian authorities accept valid vaccination certificates issued by the National Health Authority from the country of departure and that the vaccine is approved by the European Medicines Agency, which is the “Pfizer-Bionic”, “Moderna”, “AstraZeneca” and “Johnson & Johnson” vaccines.

The regulations for “List D” to enter Italy without committing to self-isolation for a period of 5 days are imposed on any person who resided or transited in one of the countries included in the list within 14 days before entering Italy, in addition to filling out a form to determine the residence of the passenger and taking a negative smear within 72 hours before entering Italy. Italy with showing digital vaccination certificate or equivalent.
