Flights from Kuwait to Iraq starts next Monday

Kuwait City, Sep 16: An informed source at Kuwait International Airport revealed that unscheduled (charter) flights will be operated back and forth to transport immunized citizens only from Kuwait to Iraq from next Monday until Tuesday, October 5.

The source added that the operation of flights to Iraq came in implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers regarding the formation of a committee to organize and follow up the conduct of unscheduled flights to Iraq formed by several government agencies.

The source indicated that there are special measures that will accompany unscheduled flights to and from Iraq, including:


1- Payment through the “Kuwait Passenger” platform before the take-off flight from Kuwait includes the value of the institutional quarantine and the value of two PCR checks, one upon arrival and the other on the sixth day of the institutional quarantine.

2- Bring a negative PCR test no more than 72 hours from the date of the return trip to Kuwait.

3- Applying institutional quarantine inside the country for a period of 7 days and a home quarantine for another 7 days.
