Kuwait City, Aug 30: Kuwaiti champion Ahmed Naga Al-Mutairi presented the silver medal he won today at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 in the 100m wheelchair race.

His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, and the Kuwaiti people stressing that his goal before entering the competition was to preserve the gold in Rio de Janeiro, which was previously crowned in the previous session, but circumstances prevented it.

Naga continued his presence on the podiums in the Paralympic Games for the second consecutive session, after winning the gold in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

In an exclusive statement, Naga pointed out the difficulty of competition in the current Paralympic Games, in light of the development of the general levels of the contestants, stressing his aspirations to restore gold in the Paris 2024 session, a goal that will begin to prepare for after the end of the current session.

Naga pointed out that he will compete in many competitions in the coming period, whether at the level of world championships or the Asian continent, indicating that he will continue to work hard in his preparations to participate in these competitions to continue raising the flag and name of Kuwait high in foreign entitlements.
