Digital Desk, Chennai. IPL franchise Mumbai Indians have bought the son of former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar, for a base price of Rs 20 lakh. Arjun has always loved going to the Mumbai franchise. Arjun is a left arm medium pacer and hard-hitting middle order batsman.

The 21-year-old Arjun recently represented Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament. However, his acting is nothing special. He also struggled in the practice match during the Vijay Hazare Trophy team selection. He recently appeared in good form for the MIG Cricket Club at the 73rd Police Shield Tournament. Here he scored 47 off 23 balls in one match. However, his bowling was poor in that match. Arjun scored 83 not out in 9 overs.

In the same tournament, he scored 77 off 31 balls in the last match and also took 3 wickets. He had eight sixes in that innings, including five sixes in over-spinner Hashim Dafeda. Arjun made his Under-19 debut against Sri Lanka in 2018. The left-arm bowler first took a bowling lesson from Wasim Akram. Arjun bowled in the Nets at Lord’s in 2015.

Sachin Tendulkar is currently the mentor of Mumbai Indians. Arjun also participated in this team camp and was also associated with the team during the last season he played in Dubai.
