Engineers Union meets with Minister of Youth Affairs
KUWAIT CITY, February 21: The head of the Kuwaiti engineering and consulting firms’ union, engineer Badr Al-Salman, announced that the union and the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs have agreed on a mechanism to activate the initiative for qualification and recruitment – Kuwaiti engineering graduates Al-Seyassah reports daily in the Mutla offices and advisory houses, which include around 28,000 residential units that have been distributed in batches to eligible citizens.
The project requires engineering offices and consulting firms to carry out design work, licenses and oversight. It also needs contractors and suppliers of building materials and equipment, as well as other engineering and engineering work.
Al-Salman referred to a recent meeting with the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and the Minister of Information, Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, in the presence of the Ministry’s Under-Secretary of State in the Minister’s office, Dr. Meshaal Al-Shaheen Al-Rabie and leader, held the team of hopefuls Dr. Hashem Al-Tabtabaei and a member of the Technical Committee of the Union Eng. Nasser Al-Mutairi, Director General of the Federation Engr. Aqil Murad and member of the Ministry’s Hope Makers team, Marzouq Al-Hassam, pointed to the activation of the Ministry’s initiative in collaboration with the union.
He praised Minister Al-Mutairi’s response to launching this initiative and establishing a mechanism for employing Kuwaiti youth, noting that more than 100 Kuwaiti engineering firms and consulting firms will be ready to design and develop the newly graduated Kuwaiti engineers Employ licensing, supervision, implementation of the residential town of Al-Mutla.
