Home Minister Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah chaired the meeting of the civil security committee, in the presence of the deputy head of the committee, the Undertatory of the Ministry of the Interior, Lieutenant General Essen Salem al-Nahm, and its Xi Coronavirus Members of various relevant state agencies to be prepared for the possibility of imposing partial or total restrictions in view of the increasing number of new infection cases.
The Minister of the Interior emphasized the importance of dedicating all human and health capabilities to the protection of citizens and residents to cope with the increasing number of new infections with the new Coronavirus.
He reviewed the preparedness and precautionary measures taken by all state authorities along with the committee members, asking them to collaborate and coordinate with the Ministry of Health to face the risk of emerging corona virus infection.
The minister urged the importance of activating awareness and advisory schemes to guide citizens and residents, refute rumors and refute false news through print, audio and visual media and through official websites of government agencies did.
He said that the Committee on Civil Protection is continuing in a permanent session, as the safety and security of citizens is our most valuable asset, and the real money is Kuwait.
