Today, Sunday, the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States held the twenty-third meeting of the Board of Trustees, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for the Educational Institutions and Planning Sector in the Ministry of Education, Eng. Yassin Al-Yassin, and the Head of Program Execution and Evaluation at the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States, Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Amir from the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, some issues and proposals related to education and educational loss in Kuwait were put forward, as well as learning and benefiting from the experiences of the brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the educational process, in addition to discussing the experience of distance education (online).
The meeting included a discussion of the work plan of the Arab Center’s programs, such as the leadership of educational planning, indicators of educational performance, the periodic meeting of the Board of Trustees, building and designing curricula in the age of technology, performance standards in science curricula, and a review of the proposed training camp topics.
During the meeting, a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Sultanate of Oman was honored, Dr. Bader Al-Kharousi, while the meeting was attended by the Director of the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States, Dr. Moza Nasser Al-Kaabi, the Director General of Educational Supervision from the Sultanate of Oman, Suleiman Al-Jamudi, and Hessa, the Director of the Training and Educational Development Center in the State of Qatar. Another meeting is scheduled to be held tomorrow to discuss the educational process in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s vision for 2030 and its future aspirations in the field of education development, in addition to presenting a working paper entitled “Distance training in light of the Corona pandemic.”
