Kuwait News, Feb 21: The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Drug and Food Control Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Badr, announced his resignation from his position for personal reasons.
Al-Badr said in his resignation statement: “After a tender that lasted 4 years, during which I learned a lot of administrative matters and gained experience that exceeded the four years in stages.
I also beg of Him, Glory be to Him, that I was at the good expectations of all those who gave me their confidence, especially the political leadership, and after them the former Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, from whom I received all support, guidance and support in all the steps I took in order to develop the work, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Mustafa Reda, who was like a big brother with experience, advice and guidance.

He added: After this simple process, I submitted to His Excellency the Minister of Health, a. Dr.. Khaled Al-Saeed resigned from the position of Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry, as of 7/1/2022, in implementation of a decision that was not born of the moment, but was taken in advance, and it is a decision related to personal reasons that make it imperative to leave the space for those who are qualified to complete the march that we started in an effort to improve health services.
I also thank Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed for his keenness to advance the work, and praise for the steps and measures that have been taken in order to achieve the desired reform.
