Partial Curfew Decision still On The Table From Feb 23… 7 Pm To 7 Am

In this regard, reliable sources hinted about an intention to impose partial curfew throughout the country from Tuesday, February 23 for a period of 21 days from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Meanwhile, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad affirmed an increase in the average occupancy rate of the COVID-19 wards.

He revealed that it reached 16.3 percent yesterday, and that the average occupancy rate of the intensive care units reached 20.9 percent.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Health yesterday announced that 979 new cases and eight deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of COVID- 19-related deaths to 1,027.


In addition, the Ministry of Interior affirmed that it would strictly apply law No. 8/1969 on those who violate the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the health authorities to close all commercial activities from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am, and to prevent gatherings and celebrations of national holidays in a bid to limit the spread of COVID-19 virus.
