Kuwait Embassy in the Netherlands: Re-tightening of “Corona” restrictions

Today, Monday, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Netherlands warned of the Dutch authorities’ decision to tighten precautionary measures and restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of infections with the virus (Corona emerging – Covid 19) since the sixth of this November, after the number of people infected in hospitals increased in the past few weeks.

In a statement received by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the embassy stated that the procedures include expanding the scope of work with a certificate of vaccination or being free of infection with the (Corona) virus electronically in museums, halls, sports clubs and outdoor places in restaurants and cafes.

She pointed out that the procedure for submitting the electronic certificate was previously in place when entering restaurants, cafes, cinemas, theaters, entertainment, commercial and academic events, and exhibitions.

The embassy clarified that restaurants from outside the European Union must conduct a coronavirus infection test to obtain a certificate free of coronavirus infection to enter the mentioned places.

The measures also include re-imposing the wearing of masks in shops, public buildings, higher education and barbershops, and adhering to the distance between people at a distance of 1.5 meters and avoiding crowded places.
