Govt has no instructions to tighten travel restrictions

Kuwait News, June 30: An official source at Kuwait International Airport revealed that the operating agencies are in constant contact with the health authorities regarding the epidemiological situation, and have not received any instructions to tighten restrictions in front of arriving or departing travelers.

The source indicated that the airport continues to receive passengers in accordance with the circulars previously issued, and is ready to deal with any directives issued regarding the outbreak of epidemics, in order to maintain health security in the country.

In addition, a health source reassured us that the epidemiological situation in the country is good, stressing that all indicators are reassuring, and there are only 5 cases of “Corona” in intensive care rooms.


He pointed to intensive coordination with the World Health Organization, as well as following up on epidemiological developments, regionally and internationally, after the United States of America added Kuwait to the list of high-risk countries. He pointed out that the medical staff in the country has gained great experience in dealing with the disease, and there is no need to worry, noting that the recovery rate among “Covid 19” patients has touched 100%, and the number of those vaccinated with the booster dose has approached 1.4 million citizens and residents.
