Fares Al-Otaibi: Gulf Oil violates the civil service decision to stop promotions and appointments

MP Fares Al-Otaibi said that the Gulf Oil Company is violating Civil Service Resolution No. 15 of 2021, which stipulates stopping promotions and appointments, and the interview will take place for the unilateral project manager job after the civil service decision is issued.

Al-Otaibi added: “The Gulf Oil Company limited interviews to 5 candidates instead of 10 candidates as usual, which led to depriving half of the candidates from the opportunity to compete, noting that the company has recently evaluated employees for the year 2021 and the annual evaluations were not included in the comparison that It will certainly result in a change in the results of the comparison.”

Al-Otaibi appealed to the acting CEO of the Petroleum Corporation to cancel the interviews that took place in violation of the civil service decision, and to give an opportunity to interview again for ten candidates instead of five candidates for the position of unilateral project manager, and to include the annual evaluation for the new year 2021 in the comparison.
