Council of Ministers meeting to ease restrictions and plan to return to normal life

Kuwait News, May 31: The Council of Ministers will consider in its meeting today headed by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, some of the recommendations raised by the ministerial committees. Sources Reported.

The sources revealed that the Higher Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies held a meeting yesterday headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali and in the presence of the Ministers of Interior, Health and Trade, ministers, and other leaders to discuss developments regarding the health situation in the country, as the committee reviewed the reports of the fieldwork teams in charge of the situation in Civil Aviation, and follow-up of the application and commitment of the field authorities concerned with health procedures and precautions, especially after the Cabinet’s decision to allow sitting in the halls of restaurants and cafes that were implemented on the 23rd of this month, in addition to entering cinemas for the immunized.

The committee also reviewed the realistic conditions and the extent of adherence to the procedures approved by the Council of Ministers to achieve physical distancing, wear masks and prevent gatherings as a guide when considering the requests of the competent authorities to extend the opening of restaurants, cafes and complexes for a period of two hours, to be closed at ten in the evening instead of eight.

The committee raised to the cabinet the central, sub, and field vaccination plans that aim to complete the achievement of community immunity and the measures to ease restrictions in preparation for the transition to a less restrictive phase of the plan to return to normal life.

The Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, presented a report on what has been done regarding the vaccination plan so far and the Ministry’s procedures to complete the remainder of the plan.

The sources revealed that the efforts of the Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, to expedite vaccinations and cover relatively large segments of field workers in general and in restaurants and food preparation companies in particular, in addition to other factors that contributed to the stability and stability of the five indicators and criteria that are based on when easing restrictions on facing the pandemic Corona.
