Civil Service Commission suspends the fingerprint system

Kuwait News, Jan 10: The Civil Service Bureau has suspended the fingerprint system to prove the attendance and departure of employees in government agencies, to avoid the spread of infection with the Corona virus. Reported by Al-Qabas.

The Diwan said, in a circular it issued a short time ago, that the attendance and departure statements are relied upon to prove the employees’ working hours.

This comes as the Cabinet issued a series of decisions today, including reducing working hours in government agencies to 50%.
