Kuwait News: The Director-General of the Public Authority for Civil Information, Musaed Al-Asousi, announced today, Monday, the launch of a new update for the (My Identity) application to include the category of domestic workers (Article 20), whose number exceeds 765 thousand according to the latest statistics.

In a press statement, Al-Asousi stressed the authority’s constant keenness to develop its electronic programs and applications to contribute to serving its auditors, including citizens and residents, and to facilitate procedures for completing all transactions.

He added that domestic workers can use the (My Identity) application to prove their identity as a digital alternative to the civil card to complete transactions, as well as to enter and exit through border outlets, especially with the Cabinet’s plan regarding the return of domestic workers to Kuwait.

Al-Asousi added that the number of users of the My Identity application exceeded one million and 100,000 users who benefited from downloading the program and using it to prove identity in the completion of government and private transactions, as well as using it to prove entry and exit to the country.
