Call for reducing the partial ban period by two hours

Kuwait City, March 15: Chairman of the Federation of Consumer Cooperative Societies Fahd Al-Kashti called for reducing the partial ban period from 12 hours to 10 hours, to become from 7 in the evening to 5 in the morning, and to amend the shopping times in the associations through the barcode system to become from 7 in the evening to 12 in the middle of the night in the event of reducing the duration of the ban By two hours.

Al-Kashti explained that the aim of this proposal is to reduce congestion in general in work and shopping centers and the intensity of traffic movement on the one hand, and to reduce the pressure on associations from shoppers by increasing the number of shopping hours available outside the partial ban times, as well as during the ban period through the appointment system, while achieving the spacing And the implementation of sanitary procedures.


Al-Kashti also demanded that cooperative societies restaurants be allowed to deliver orders within 5 hours of the ban from 7 pm to 12 midnight, inside the societies ’residential areas.
