Sources revealed that the Council of Ministers decided, in an exceptional meeting today, Wednesday, to completely close clubs and salons as of next week.
It also decided to close commercial malls and restaurants from eight in the evening starting from next week, with the delivery service being excluded from this decision.
The sources also confirmed that a recommendation was adopted to impose an institutional quarantine for a week on those coming to Kuwait, provided that the decision will be effective later this month.
Earlier today, Wednesday, the head of the Government Communication Center and the official spokesperson for the government, Tariq Al-Muzrim, announced that the Council of Ministers was holding an extraordinary meeting within the framework of continuous follow-up, to discuss the reports of the relevant authorities on confronting the Corona virus.
Kuwait is witnessing an increase in cases of Coronavirus, hospitalizations and intensive care, and an increase in the rate of infection to swabs.
