Amiri order accepting the resignation of the government

Kuwait City, May 10: An Emiri order was issued accepting the resignation of the Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the ministers, assigning each of them an urgent discharge of his office affairs until the formation of the new ministry. reported by Al-qabas.

The acceptance of the resignation comes more than a month after its submission, as His Highness, the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received from Al-Khaled the letter of resignation from the government on the 5th of last April.

Al-Khaled had submitted the resignation of the government, which is the fourth of his presidency formation, after only 3 months of its differences, against the background of political differences and the continuous escalation between the authority and executive authorities, which was represented in submitting successive interrogations to members of the government, the last of which was the questioning of MPs, Dr. Hassan Gohar, Khaled Al-Mones and Muhannad Al-Sayer to the Prime Minister, whose discussion ended with the signing of a letter of non-cooperation with Al-Khaled, who submitted the government’s resignation 24 hours before the parliamentary session that was dedicated to voting on the “non-cooperation” book.
