The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Residency Affairs Sector, Major General Anwar Al-Barjas, stated that a Kuwaiti woman married to a non-Kuwaiti can complete all the transactions of her children and her husband in the citizen service centers, stressing at the same time, the ministry’s endeavor to transform electronically and get rid of the attendance reviews of the audience of auditors.

Al-Barjas, in the presence of the Director of Service Centers, Brigadier Abdul-Qader Shaaban, inaugurated the Citizen Service Center in the Salam region, after it was renovated, to become one of the model centers in the country.

Al-Barjas said, in a statement to “Al-Rai” on the sidelines of the opening, that “this step will not be the last in opening the center and providing it with the best advanced services, as there are instructions from the Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali and the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf, to rehabilitate all dilapidated citizen service centers.” And addressing any negatives first-hand, and also qualifying workers with courses and experiences with all available means to complete citizens’ transactions,” noting that there are 42 service centers that operate in the morning and 10 in the evening, bringing the total of centers to 52.

He added: “We are keen to provide comfort for all auditors, and we strive to ease the trouble of effort and time for the auditors, as we have provided services (online) and completed the public’s transactions within minutes, while they are at their home, and for those who wish to review the service centers, our doors are open to them with all open heart.”

He explained that “with direct instructions from the Minister and the Undersecretary, a Kuwaiti woman married to an expatriate will be received, and she wants to renew the residencies of her children and husband through the service centers in her region, without referring to the residency affairs departments, and she can also renew the children’s driving licenses, and this trend reflects the leadership’s keenness to facilitate and simplify All obstacles are faced by male and female citizens, and all means of comfort are provided.”

He pointed out, “We are continuing to open the model citizen service centers in all governorates, and we strive to reduce the number of citizen service center auditors, as their transactions are completed through the Ministry of Interior website, especially since the launch of the electronic transaction service, the attendance rate of the auditors has fallen to 50 percent. , and this provides comfort to citizens and residents in the affairs of residency, as in the past the citizen would come from long distances to complete his transaction, and stand in line. The attendance of the auditors, and we hope to celebrate not receiving any references in the service centers.”
