800 companies trading residences to investigate

Kuwait News Today, Nov 4: Senior security sources revealed that the security efforts to besiege the residency trade succeeded during a year and a half in seizing 800 bogus companies and institutions whose files were referred to the investigation authorities, from March 2020 until the end of last September.

The sources said that more than 60,000 expatriates registered on the files of these companies left the country, after referring the companies registered with them to the General Department for Investigations and Prosecution, explaining that the investigations revealed that these expatriates were obtaining residency through these fictitious companies in return for payment of sums of money. Then they go to work outside their company.

The sources indicated explicit and firm instructions not to tolerate residency dealers.

They pointed out that intensive coordination is currently underway between the Ministry of the Interior and other relevant authorities to besiege residency dealers and seize any fake companies, noting that inspections and examinations are continuing on these companies and on farms, in cooperation with the specialized teams in the Ministry of Affairs, revealing that many farm files are a gateway to trade. Residences.
