Pneumonia and seasonal influenza vaccines available in early October

Kuwait City, Sep 20: With the approach of winter, the Ministry of Health will start providing vaccinations for pneumonia and seasonal influenza in various preventive health centers spread in health areas, starting from next October. Reported by Al-Anba.

Health sources confirmed that the two vaccines will be given to new and previous cases that take it periodically, noting that the pulmonary vaccine is taken once, while the influenza vaccine is seasonal for all cases, including children, who are given doses, pointing out at the same time that it can Students also get this preventive flu vaccine through their affiliated centers.

The sources also expected that a platform would be allocated to take flu vaccines through pre-booking for those who wish, both for citizens and residents, noting that the past year witnessed a great demand for receiving the vaccine by everyone, which contributed to a decrease in the severity of the flu and alleviation of its symptoms.
