Ministry of Health opens the door for a third dose over 18 years old

Kuwait City, Oct 9: The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced the opening of registration to receive the “third dose” of the Covid-19 vaccine, for age groups 18 years and over. Reported by Al-Qabas.

Al-Sanad explained that the dates for providing this dose will be according to the priority groups of people at risk, and according to the available quantities of vaccines, provided that a period of more than six months has passed since receiving the second dose of the same vaccine, stressing the ministry’s keenness to provide the best means of protection against Covid disease – 19, and ensuring a safe and stable return to normal life, wishing everyone good health and safety.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health launched the campaign to provide this revitalizing dose of the Covid-19 vaccine “the third dose” on September 26, provided that 6 months have passed since receiving the second dose for 3 categories, including those over 60 years old, and among the most vulnerable groups. “Health workers”, and the category of people with immunodeficiency diseases.
