Kuwait allows the use of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine in an emergency


Kuwait News: Kuwait’s government gives a green signal for the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine to be used in emergency cases.

MOH ( Ministry of Health) gives permission on Sunday, to use of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine in case of any emergency cases only.

The U.S. Committee on Registration and Monitoring and Registration of Drugs has approved the emergency use of the vaccine for evaluation and registration. Abdullah Al-Badr, Assistant Under Secretary for Pharmaceutical and Food Supervision.


He said the committee’s decision led to an in-depth review of the safety and quality details of the vaccine.

“The committee also reviewed the results of clinical trials.”

Al Beder stressed that the MOH is closely followed to ensure the well-being of the public after the use of the vaccine.


The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued the first emergency use authority for the Pfizer-Bionotech vaccine.

So far, the US, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UK have authorized the use of Pfizer vaccines.
