Kuwait City, Sep 1: The Ministry of Health has reported that the COVID-19 vaccine platforms used in the country are approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and others. Relevant international bodies and agencies.
The Ministry explained that there is a difference between the approval of (vaccines) and the approval of countries for vaccination (certificates), as the approved and used vaccines in the country are approved by competent international organizations.

As for the approval of vaccination certificates, the health authorities in each country are the ones who determine the required information and data that they deem appropriate to approve or audit that certificate and this mechanism varies from one country to another, as is the case with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, which formed a committee to audit and approve issued certificates from abroad according to specific criteria.
