Kuwait News, April 19: The Philippines officially announced the lifting of the ban on sending domestic workers to Kuwait.
The labor attaché at the Philippine embassy in Kuwait, Nasser Mustafa, issued a circular directed to recruitment agencies in the country. Al-Anba obtained a copy of it, regarding reopening the door to the recruitment of Filipino domestic workers.
Mustafa said that based on the instructions of the Philippine Labor Minister Silvestre H. Bello III on resuming the recruitment of domestic workers in Kuwait, he stated:
The Philippine Overseas Workers Office (POLO) will start issuing the disclosure patents for foreign employment offices from nine o’clock in the morning until Monday. One in the evening.

As of Wednesday, April 21, the office will begin receiving requests for renewal and re-evaluation of “job orders” from nine o’clock until ten-thirty.
It will begin receiving applications for new individual employment contracts for domestic workers on Sunday, April 25, from nine o’clock until ten-thirty.
