The Ministry of Interior closed all beaches extending from Seif Palace to Al Wataya Beach, preventing owners of salons, restaurants, and small businesses from gathering.
The protesters confirmed, in an electronic campaign launched today, coinciding with the expected sit-in at 1 pm, that they will not close their activities and will continue with them, adding, “Government decisions targeting activities have become a path towards bankruptcy.”
After police officers closed the beaches extending from Seif Palace to Al Watiya Beach, the crowd turned to gather and sit-in in front of the Kuwait Lawyers Association, and the protesters carried banners in which they confirmed their rejection of the closure, calling on government agencies to back off immediately.
