Kuwait City, Aug 24: The Civil Service Bureau lifted the ban on 346 job positions for expatriates teachers within the budget for the fiscal year 2021-2022, coinciding with the Ministry of Education opened the door for local contracting for members of the educational staff last Wednesday.

An educational source revealed that the number of teachers who fulfill the conditions so far does not exceed 100 out of the total number of applicants. Reported by Al-Rai.

The source indicated that coordination is taking place between the administrative sector and public education to count the number of non-Kuwaiti teachers whose appointments have been delayed since last year due to the “Corona” crisis, stressing that the administrative sector will address the Bureau again to lift the ban on grades of resignations, if necessary.
