Mumbai, March 26: Corona destruction has been in Maharashtra for a year. No matter how many hospitals are not enough for the patients. With this, the Maharashtra government has temporarily set up several hospitals and covid Care Centers.
There are several such hospitals in the country’s commercial capital, Mumbai. The tragedy took place at one such hospital on Thursday (March 25) at midnight.
Eleven patients died when the fire broke out. All are covid patients. Many were injured and the hospital license for the accident expires on March 31.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has expressed deep regret over the accident. Apologies to the families of the dead and strict action will be taken against those responsible.
Corona said the hospital had to give permission for the bandage only and Compensation of Rs 5 lakh has been announced for the families of the deceased.
The fire broke out at Dreams Mall in Bhandap area of Mumbai. Covid Hospital is located on the third floor of the same mall. The first floor of Dreams Mall caught fire shortly after midnight on Thursday.
The fire spread to Sunrise Hospital on the third floor. There were 78 covid patients in the hospital at the time of the accident.
