Singer SP Balasubramanian has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India.
- The government has decided to give the Padma Vibhushan award to SP Balasubramaniam for bringing songs alive with a melodious voice. This award is given to him posthumously. s. P. Balasubramanian died on 25 September 2020.
After that Salman sang all the songs in the early days of his career and he became famous as Salman Khan’s voice for years.
Apart from this, there are a lot of similar superhit songs that he has given his melodic voice. He sang his first song in Telugu. This was followed by songs for Kannada and then Hindi films.
In Bollywood, SP Balasubramaniam has sung for ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’, ‘Andha Kanoon’, ‘Sajan’, ‘100 Days’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Anger’.
Balasubramanian was born into a Telugu family in Nellore and his father S.P. Sambamurthy is a Harikatha artist.
Apart from being a playback singer, he is also a music director, actor, dubbing artist, and film producer.
SP Balasubramanian Full name is Sripati Panditradyula Balasubramanian. SP, popularly known as Baloo, has recorded over 40,000 songs in 16 Indian languages.
He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2011. His name is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Source link
