Kuwait Real estate transactions increased 9 times

Kuwait City, Sep 7: The value of real estate transactions in Kuwait amounted to about 1.1 billion dinars during the second quarter of 2021, compared to transactions worth 929 million in the previous quarter.

And the volume of demand for trading during the second quarter increased significantly by 19% on a quarterly basis and reached 10 times its value on an annual basis.

According to a report issued by KFH, private housing strengthened its position in the first rank among sectors, with its contribution rising to about 77.5% in the second quarter, compared to 62.4% of transactions in the same period 2020, while the share of investment real estate in the second place remained low to 15.2 % of the trading value, compared to 22.3% in the second quarter of 2020, while the share of commercial real estate trading fell sharply to 2.9%, compared to 13.4% of trading.
