Commerce Minister issues a decision to establish Kuwait Consumer Protection Association

Kuwait City, March 2: Minister of Commerce and Industry Faisal AlMedlej issued on Monday a ministerial decision to establish the Kuwaiti Consumer Protection Association.

A press statement by the commerce ministry noted that the association is the third to be announced by the ministry. The first article of the resolution stipulates “The establishment of the Kuwaiti Consumer Protection Society is attached to its statute where its board of directors practices their work without pay or reward.”

It added that the names of the directors board members, the decisions of its general assemblies, and the amendments, cancellations, or deletions that occur to it or its board of directors shall be recorded, and it shall apply regarding its resources and the system of their business and control over them.
