This poignant scene was caught on camera when two women, who had come to shop in the market during the arson after the violence, hid in a nearby house to escape.
The house also engulfed in flames, then the women and the accompanying child started crying. On hearing the child’s voice, constable Netresh ran and took the child in his lap and ran outside. Women also ran behind them. Thus all three survived.
